Working with businesses across Devon & Cornwall, you will work in a flexible environment where remote working is very much an option. Or, if you’d prefer, you can work from our shared office space. Whichever environment helps you to work best.
Our clients all use online accounting, primarily Xero and Receipt Bank, to manage their finances. We then bolt onto Xero a number of tools that enable us to provide all of the services required.
The person who we are looking for will be able to:
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping
- Prepare VAT returns
- Assist in our Payroll & CIS Return preparation
- Help to train clients on Xero & Receipt Bank
We think that this role would be perfect for someone who loves technology. We have an extensive stack of apps that we use to help our clients, so getting to grips with this will be a requirement.
Ideally, we would be looking for someone who has completed or is in the final stages of completing their full AAT qualification, or someone who has an ICB certification. Previous experience in an accounting business would be perfect too, although we’re more about finding the right person to work with our clients.
Experience of working within the Xero ecosystem would be a bonus, but again this is not essential.
This is a part-time role for 16 to 20 hours per week. These hours can be worked to suit your lifestyle, so long as clients are happy you can work hours to suit you.
