Client Manager

Full or Part Time

Are you a qualified accountant looking for a new challenge? We might have a role that is perfect for you!

We are looking for an accountant with plenty of experience in an accounting business and someone who has had exposure to various aspects of accountancy and general business. This role would suit both full or part-time applicants.

Extensive experience is essential. This role will be suitable to ACA, ACCA or FMAAT-qualified applicants.

The person we are looking for will have the following skillset:

  • Have experience managing a portfolio of clients, including reviewing accounts and tax work for primarily Limited Companies.

  • Happy to work autonomously between a number of tasks, including accounts preparation, personal & corporate tax compliance, VAT, and oversight of bookkeeping and payroll.

  • Working to design and implement systems and processes within the business, as well as training colleagues.

  • Be comfortable offering tax & general business advice.

  • Love learning about new technology with a strong existing knowledge of Xero.

  • Have experience working with businesses in the construction industry, digital & technology and creative sectors.

  • Comfortable managing their own workload and assisting the wider team with task management.

  • Be personable, positive, and able to give insights to clients using non-accounting language.

  • Be confident dealing with clients face to face (physically or on Zoom!).

This role will require you to work in our office in Saltash, Cornwall.

Salary for this role will vary based on experience and full/part-time working. As a guide, this would cover a range of £30,000 - £45,000.

Our team currently splits their time between working from home and the office.

Client Assistant

Full or Part Time

Are you looking to pivot your accounting career and work in a pioneering accounting business? 

This role would be perfect for someone with experience within an accounting business but who is still working towards completing their qualifications.  

The person who we are looking for will be:

  • Assisting in the preparation of annual accounts.

  • Working on tax returns for both limited companies and individuals.

  • Providing software and general accounting support to our clients.

  • Implementing and recommending new software solutions to business owners.

  • Be personable, positive, and able to give insights to clients using non-accounting language.

  • Be confident dealing with clients face to face (physically or on Zoom!).

There might also be times when we need you to jump in and help with preparing client's management accounts, tax returns & CIS returns, but training can be provided for all of these areas.

We think that this role would be perfect for someone who loves technology. We have an extensive stack of apps that we use to help our clients, so getting to grips with this will be a requirement.

Ideally, we would be looking for someone who has completed or is in the final stages of completing their full AAT qualification or has commenced their ACCA training.

This role will require you to work in our office in Saltash, Cornwall.
